The 81st International Session of the European Youth Parliament started today, 6th of March 2016, with a full day of Teambuilding at Queen’s University Belfast. Our first flagship international session of 2016 is a joint project of EYP United Kingdom and EYP Ireland, bringing together almost 300 young people from 33 countries in two cities and countries. At the beginning of this year, Germany took over the chairmanship of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), which inspired the Schwarzkopf foundation to create events for the year 2016 that involve young people in shaping ideas for international security in Europe parallel to the high-level politics.
