Understanding, discussing and changing energy and climate topics – the Schwarzkopf Foundation gathered 400 young people from 35 European countries over a time span of 3 years within the project “Power Shifts – Reflecting Europe’s Energy”. Their demands are now summarised in a final publication.
The youngsters’ claims include four main areas:
1. Stronger decentralisation in a European energy transition
2. More ambitious emission reductions
3. More serious decarbonisation through low- and zero-emission mobility
4. Global solidarity in combating climate change
The final publication can be found here: Young Opinions On Europe’s Energy Policies 2017
