EYP year 2016 kicks off with a new Governing Body and a new long-term strategy

A new year is here and with it also new winds in European Youth Parliament. As of January 1st, the three new members of the governing body Beata, Lars-Erik and Jenny start their mandates. The Governing Body is responsible for ensuring the educational value of EYP, taking care of HR and establishing a long-term strategy for the network. You can read more about their work here.

Youth from the Baltics and beyond experiencing Europe together in Narva, Estonia

The Baltic Forum of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) brought together 127 young participants from 20 different countries in Narva, Estonia for four days of exciting debates between 27th and 30th of November. The third biggest city of Estonia, right next to the Russian border proved to be the perfect location for an EYP event. The Baltic Forum was unique in bringing together young people from both “native” (Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian) and”non-native” (Russian) speakers from across the different communities in the three Baltic States, giving them an opportunity to explore Europe’s diversity.
